Slim Xbox 360
62The Slim Xbox 360 (or the Microsoft Xbox 360 S, to give it its proper name), is the latest incarnation of the Xbox 360 Console.
This is not a major change, and all the old games and accessories are compatible with the new console, except the old hard drives and memory cards. Rather then using memory cards, a recent software update for the Xbox 360 (bot the Slim and "Standard") has enabled them to use normal USB drives for transfering data, rendering standard memory cards unnecessary anyway.

The new console is only a little bit smaller than its predecessor, but it looks a lot better with its attractive shiny finish. The on and the eject buttons are now touch buttons, giving a more streamlined and high-tech experience.
The Xbox 360 Slim incorporates a Wi fi card, allowing it to connect to a home network more easily. There is an ethernet port, for those that still use them. The number of USB ports has been increased from 3 to 5, and there is a dedicated port for powering the Microsoft Kinect.
The Sbox 360 Slim can run all the Xbox 360 Games, which means that there is a wealth of games to draw on. With a subscription to Xbox Live, it becomes easy to turn this into a media center, since it supports Netflix, as well as Facebook and Twitter. The only objection is that there is a lack of browser.
The Xbox 360 Slim includes a removable 250Gb Hard drive, and comes with one black wireless controller, and a wired headset.

Just curious? You said "There is an ethernet port, for those that still use them." Are you suggesting that ethernet is a fading technology? Just curious! I have a wireless N router but I've found that I get much more reliable connectivity using an ethernet port than going wireless.
